Demonstration Contest

We follow the State Fair Guidlines.  Guidelines can be found at State Fair Handbook - Communications Day.

Please call the Extension office by June 26 with your demonstration title so we can include you on the program. 

 

4-H Pledge Contest (8 to 11 yr olds)

Participants are expected to memorize and recite the 4-H pledge. 

  • Participants must be 4‑H members between the ages of 8 - 11 as of 1/1/12. 
  • Participants are expected to memorize and recite the 4-H pledge. 
  • No hand motions are allowed.    
  • Participants will be reviewed on their voice, stage presence, power of expression, general effect, and presentation correctness. 

 

What 4-H Means to Me (11 to 18 yr olds)

Participants are expected to write and recite a personal speech about “What 4-H Means to Me.”

  • Participants must be 4‑H members between the ages of 12 – 18 as of 1/1/12.
  • Participants are expected to write and recite a 3-5 minute speech about “What 4-H Means to Me.” 
  • Participants will be reviewed on their voice, stage presence, power of expression, general effect, and content. 

 

Health / Safety Speaking Contest - Regional Contest in Wooster
