About Agriculture and Natural Resources
The Agriculture and Natural Resources (Ag/NR) program area of the Mahoning Extension is led by educator Dave Goerig. The goal of this program is to distribute information and guidance through new technology and techniques that are always being perfected through research. From answering questions asked by customers who stop by the office on how to keep moles out of their lawn, to brainstorming new ways to plant trees in a neighborhood in order to reduce energy costs, the Agriculture and Natural Resources program is always looking for ways to apply OSU's research to the needs of the community.

Ohio State University Extension embraces human diversity and is committed to ensuring that all research and related educational programs are available to clientele on a nondiscriminatory basis without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
