Technology is making possible the exploration and extraction of oil and gas resources from the Marcellus shale formation in Eastern Ohio.  This type of natural gas exploration is somewhat different than what you may have seen around this area in past years.  Mahoning Extension is providing these links to help citizens, landowners, businesses, local governments and others get a sense of the opportunities and challenges’ coming our way as this resource is developed.
