Bring One, Take One Plant & Garden Art Sale

Gardeners and plant lovers are invited to dig into a unique community event this summer at the Bring One, Take One Plant & Garden Art Sale, hosted by OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Mahoning County.

A highlight of the morning is the Bring One, Take One plant exchange, where participants can swap plants with fellow gardeners. Those who wish to participate may bring up to five healthy, weed-free, labeled plants such as perennials, shrubs, or houseplants. Plant drop-off and check-in runs 9:00–9:45 a.m. Participants will receive a ticket for each plant they bring and will use those tickets to select plants during the exchange, which begins at 10:00 a.m.

Visitors can swap for a variety of plants sourced directly from Master Gardener Volunteer gardens and other participants, including bulbs, native plants, shrubs, perennials for sun and shade, terrariums, and houseplants. In addition to plants, attendees can browse unique indoor and outdoor garden art handcrafted by Master Gardener Volunteers. The sale is open to the public, and cash or check payments will be accepted for garden art purchases.
