Come and explore the many options of Color in Winter with the Master Gardener Volunteers. Come November, we all start thinking about holiday centerpieces, porch decorations, and wreaths. But the true colors of the holidays begin long before. Planting the reds of dogwoods, winterberry, and holly; the yellows of dogwoods, cypresses, and arborvitae; and the deep greens of cedar, spruce, and pine come in spring and fall. In winter these are a delight in the yard, as well as an "inventory of materials" for decorating your home - be it porch, yard, dining room table, or mantle.
Registration is $15 and includes the program, coffee, tea, a light breakfast, and handouts.
