The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Topics range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All events cost $5 per class or $30 for the 2026 Naturalist Series. Classes are held at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.
Join Monika Bowman, Wildlife Communications Specialist, and State Wildlife Officer Tom Frank with the Ohio Division of Wildlife, to explore furbearers of Ohio. We will delve into identification, wildlife history, population monitoring, and the laws surrounding hunting, trapping, and human-wildlife conflicts.
