Naturalist Series: The Magic of Native Plants

The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Subjects range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All these events are $5 ($30 for the whole series) and occur at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office. 

The Magic of Native Plants - How to Create an Ecologically Functional Landscape

  • We often separate ourselves (and our landscaping) from the rest of the environment, but we are connected, and our landscaping choices can have a profound impact on our local ecosystem. Learn how to use native plants and ecological landscape design in your yard to create a habitat that supports our local pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
