Naturalist Series: Protecting Your Natural Resources - Soil: Where It All Begins

The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Topics range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All events cost $5 per class or $30 for the 2026 Naturalist Series. Classes are held at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.

Learn more about the importance of soil health.  Reducing soil erosion, increasing biodiversity, and improving water infiltration can be achieved by implementing best management practices on your ground.  Informational handouts on the topics covered will be provided.
