Skulls Tell It All

  • Ohio is rich in so many natural resources, and our native mammals are a wonder. From the smallest shrew to the previously extirpated and now re-establishing black bears, we see nature balancing our dynamic of predator/prey relationships. Mammal skulls - shape, eye socket placement, dentition, and other clues - give us evidence of activity, food sources, territory, and mating habits. Come along as we venture into the Ohio world of mammals.
  • Speaker: Stephanie Hughes, Master Gardener Volunteer and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist
