    2025 Garden Art Series The Mahoning County Master Gardeners will lead hands-on garden art demonstrations that participants will be able to make and take home. Workshops run on the second Wednesday of the month April-December at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office. All workshops cost $25 per participant.

    Help Save Ohio’s Lady Beetles! Join the Buckeye Lady Beetle Blitz Community Science Program – Training 2025   Training Date: June 10th |  3:00 PM – 4:30 PM 490 S. Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406   We're looking for home gardeners across Ohio to join this exciting community science project! Lady beetles are declining—and we need your help to track their populations.   What You’ll Do: ✔ Have a flower or food garden? ✔ Set a sticky trap for 1 week in June and 1 week in August

    The ServSafe® program provides accurate, up-to-date information for all levels of employees on handling of food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe® and a Certification in Food Protection from the Ohio Department of Health. Who should attend?
