    The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Subjects range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All these events are $5 ($30 for the whole series) and occur at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.

    OSU Extension will be hosting their 4th Annual Fabric Frenzy on Tuesday, May 16th, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Wednesday, May 17th, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. This event is open to the public. Located at the Extension Office at 490 S Broad St. Canfield. Across from the fairgrounds, next to the state highway patrol.

    Join Eric Barrett and the orchard caretakers to learn about pruning, taking, fertilization, and general care of fruit trees in an urban setting. The free event will cover all the basics. Bring your questions and a lawn chair If you want to sit in the orchard.  Workshop held rain or shine. Dress for outdoor activities (rugged shoes).
