    Pressure Gauge Testing Information For safe home canning, the USDA recommends pressure canner dial gauges to be tested annually for accuracy, as they can become inaccurate over time. An inaccurate gauge can lead to under-or over-processing food and potentially cause food safety issues. FREE Gauge Testing Open House Times 5:00 p.m. –6:00 p.m.
