Venison 101: Harvest to Table

OSU Extension Mahoning County, in partnership with the Ohio Division of Wildlife, invites you to a unique Harvest to Table workshop focused on venison.
This hands-on program will walk participants through the entire process:

Harvesting a deer on-site (including gutting, preparation for hanging, and cutting)

Using different cuts to make jerky and sausage

Preserving venison through canning and freezing

Cooking and nutrition tips for your table

Cost: $30 (covers mileage for expert presenters)

Class Size is Limited: Payment is required to register. We can take payment over the phone by credit card. Cash or check is also accepted.
