    Learn ways you can participate in research projects and provide data to further scientific learning about key issues.

  6. Naturalist Series: Ticks in Ohio

    The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Topics range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All events cost $5 per class or $30 for the 2026 Naturalist Series. Classes are held at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.

    Browse a large selection of fabric, yarn, patterns, and sewing supplies during Fabric Frenzy, a donation-based fabric sale supporting Mahoning County 4-H youth programs hosted by Ohio State University Extension Mahoning County.

    Community members are invited to donate fabric and sewing supplies from May 1–22, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
