    The Mahoning County Master Gardeners will lead hands-on garden art demonstrations that participants will be able to make and take home.

    Workshops run on Wednesdays** April-December at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.

    Participants will learn how to grow and care for different plants, make simple dishes using what we grow, and enjoy tasting samples.

    Learn ways you can participate in research projects and provide data to further scientific learning about key issues.

    The Naturalist Series invites subject matter experts to share their knowledge and research regarding different aspects of nature. Topics range from animals, plants, insects, and more. All events cost $5 per class or $30 for the 2026 Naturalist Series. Classes are held at 6:30 pm in the Mahoning County Extension Office.

    Community members are invited to donate fabric and sewing supplies from May 1–22, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
