    Do you or someone you love have diabetes? With 30 million diabetics in America, you are not alone! In this Cooking School and Nutrition Education Program, you will learn how to incorporate good, healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control your blood sugar. These classes are designed for people with diabetes and their family members or caregivers. Cost is FREE.

  5. Milkweed Seeds Available Now!

    Come and get ‘em! Milkweed seeds are available now!  Cost is a suggested two-dollar donation. Seeds can be picked up at The Mahoning County Extension Office located at 490 S Broad St. Canfield, Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm while supplies last with no holds.  Packets contain around 50 seeds.

  6. Food Safety Manager Online Training for Level 2 ServSafe

    Now Available - Online Level 2 Serv Safe Class in partnership with TAP

    This course is designed for Food Service Managers and Food Handlers at restaurants; convenience stores; grocery stores; school food service workers; and civic groups who prepare food for sale and consumptions.
    This course meets the standards as set by the Ohio Department of Health as Level II Certification in Food Protection Manager Certification (Ohio Revised Code 3701-21-25).

  7. SNAP-Ed Promotes Healthy Choices for Kids

    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program (SNAP-Ed) is a free nutrition education and obesity prevention program that serves low-income adults, youth and families.

The afternoon keynote will be Incorporating Herbs In the Landscape by Rees & Meghan Davis from Honey Hollow Herbs. There will be a Garden Art Sale all day.
