    Join the Master Gardener Volunteers at various branches of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County for a Morning with the Masters speaker series. MGVs will be on hand to assist and discuss garden-related topics.

  2. Pollinator Gardens in Fall

    Join us for an educational seed collection at the OSU Extension pollinator garden on November 7th from 4-5 pm. Registration is $10 and includes seeds for your own pollinator garden, handouts, and more!

    Join us Oct. 7-12 as we celebrate National 4-H Week and recognize all the ways 4-H helps youth become “Beyond Ready” for life.  

    At Ohio 4-H we are building a ready generation in a world of change, and this would not be possible without the tireless work of our 4-H volunteers. They serve as the mentors, supporters, and cheerleaders who give our youth the confidence they need to grow and thrive.

You will learn how to incorporate good, healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control your blood sugar through our cooking school and nutrition education program designed for people with diabetes and their family members or caregivers.

    Join OSU Extension staff and trained Master Gardener Volunteers for the Veggies and More Tour, Growing Local Foods: Urban Farms & Gardens Summer Tour Series.

    Come to learn about growing practices, helpful tips, soils, organic production, and more. Bring a lawn chair for seating and a notepad. Don’t forget your weeds, disease, and insects—we’ll diagnose what’s going on in your garden, too!

  8. Embrace the Olympic Spirit - 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp 2024!

    Join us for 4-H at Cloverbud Day Camp 2024!

    Campers ages 5 - 8 years old will Embrace the Olympic Spirit through hands-on STEM activities, spend time outdoors, and make new friends! Lunch is provided. 

    When: You get to pick which day your camper comes:

    - Tuesday, July 23, 2024, OR Wednesday, July 24th, 2024

    Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

    Who: All youth ages 5 - 8, 4-H membership is not required

  9. Jr. Master Gardener Program (K-12)

    Join the Jr. Master Gardener Program, conducted by Master Gardener Volunteers through OSU Extension.  The program teaches kids K-12 how to grow and maintain a garden.  We also have a small pollinator garden.

    Mondays, starting April 15,  at 5:30 for approximately 1 hour (Parents must stay).
