Want to learn more about growing vegetables, soils and plant production? If so, mark your calendars to join OSU Extension staff and Master Gardener Volunteers at local community gardens this summer!
Programs will be held every Monday from May 28 to August 13 at 6 p.m. Topics such as vegetable growing patterns, production details, and soil characteristics will be discussed. This program is geared for participants of all ages, and is beneficial to the backyard gardener just wanting to learn some tips and tricks, or for someone wanting to start their own community garden.

The second annual 4-H Endowment Dinner and Auction will be held April 21 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave., Boardman, OH. A silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m. and a live auction to follow.

New Mahoning County Plat Books for Sale!
Calling all landowners, hunters, foresters, farmers, and anyone who needs to know the layout of Mahoning County! The Mahoning County plat Book is now for sale at the Mahoning County Extension Office, 490 South Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
This handy resource consists of township maps, village maps and an overall road map of the county, along with an index of plat owners, which makes for easy reference. These books are available for $25 + tax at the Mahoning County Extension Office.
