Mahoning County 4-H Invites Community to Shop Largest-Ever “Fabric Frenzy” Sale This Week
The sewing room cleanout everyone waits for is finally here — and this year’s selection is the biggest and best yet.
The Mahoning County 4-H Fabric Frenzy returns this week at the OSU Extension Mahoning County office, offering the community a chance to browse and “purchase” fabric and sewing supplies through donations that directly support local youth programming.
After five years of hosting the event, organizers say 2026 features the largest inventory they have ever received, with high-quality fabric and crafting materials ready to find new homes.
Shoppers will discover tables filled with quilting fabric, cotton prints, specialty materials, sewing notions, buttons, zippers, thread, ribbon, patterns, tools, crafting supplies, and more — all at donation-based pricing.
Whether you are an experienced quilter, a beginner sewist, a crafter, teacher, theater costume designer, or someone looking for inspiration for your next project, Fabric Frenzy has something for everyone.
“We truly have something for every type of maker this year,” said organizers with Mahoning County 4-H. “The community donations have been incredible, and we would love to see these supplies continue to inspire creativity instead of sitting unused. Every item purchased helps support Mahoning County youth.”
All proceeds from Fabric Frenzy directly benefit Mahoning County 4-H youth programming, helping provide educational opportunities, camps, leadership experiences, STEM programming, and access to hands-on learning for local youth.
