OSU Extension Mahoning County Announces 2026 ServSafe® Manager Training Dates

OSU Extension Mahoning County has announced its 2026 schedule for ServSafe® Manager Certification courses. This nationally recognized program, developed by the National Restaurant Association, provides comprehensive food safety training that meets Ohio’s Level II Certification in Food Protection requirements.

The ServSafe® course is ideal for food service managers and staff working in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other foodservice operations. Participants will learn best practices for handling, preparing, and serving food safely, and will take a proctored certification exam upon completion.

Upcoming 2026 Class Dates:

• January 5 & 12 (Exam: Jan. 12, 1–4 PM)

• March 16 & 23 (Exam: Mar. 23, 1–4 PM)

• May 4 & 11 (Exam: May 11, 1–4 PM)

All classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the OSU Extension Mahoning County Office, 490 S. Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406. The cost is $200 (cash or check only), which includes instruction, materials, and the exam.
