    ServSafe Manager's Certification Announced:

    The ServSafe® program provides accurate, up-to-date information for all levels of employees on handling of food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.
    Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe® and a Certification in Food Protection from the Ohio Department of Health.

    MILKWEED SEEDS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

    We apologize, but all of the milkweed seeds are gone for 2021.  We suggest you try some online sites to try to find seeds.

     

    You can still do your part to help the monarchs! Consider purchasing swamp milkweed or butterfly weed plants (both types of milkweed that look great in the garden). At this link – http://go.osu.edu/growmilkweed - you can seed the milkweeds that are available as container plants to help the monarchs.

    The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program (SNAP-Ed) is a free nutrition education and obesity prevention program that serves low-income adults, youth and families.

  10. Mahoning County Completes Virtual Project Judging

    One of the many rituals in the summer for 4-H members is the Non-Livestock Project Judging. This occasion is a judging for youth taking non-animal projects, such as photography, cooking, sewing, STEM, leadership. gardening, woodworking, scrapbooking and so many more projects. Judges, who are community members that have a specialization in a particular area, volunteer their time to allow the youth to present their projects and ask the youth questions.
