Camp Whitewood

Established in 1940, Camp Whitewood provides year-round outdoor educational opportunities on 227 acres in Northeastern Ohio. Nestled between beautiful Warner's Hollow and historical orchards, the unique campus is also home to Young Adventurers Day Camp, Grindstone Creek Lodge and Conference Center, and is an official stop on the Maple Tour in Northeastern Ohio.

4-H Camp Whitewood is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Together we believe that the camp experience is essential to every child's growth and education.

Mahoning & Columbiana County 4-H Junior Camp

Junior Camp at Camp Whitewood Dates:
Sunday, June 23, 2024 – Friday, June 28, 2024

If you are between the ages of 8 and 14 you should consider joining us for Junior Camp at Camp Whitewood in summer 2024! During camp, you can participate in a wide variety of activities, including archery, sports, nature education, crafts, bonfires, scavenger hunts, and much more.

The cost for campers is $360 for the week. 

Camper scholarship (campership) applications will be available to Mahoning County 4-H members. Campership applications will be available in the Spring of 2024. Watch for more information to come. (Participants must register when camp registrations open for camp even if they apply for a campership. Your spot at camp is not secured until you complete the online Camp Whitewood registration and make your deposit of $100.)
